Students will be able to identify the author's claims and text structure with 85% accuracy by utilizing college readiness strategies while reading.

fictional components of the text.

* Students will be able to take a critical stance regarding a point resented in the text and support their claim with 90% accuracy by coherently expressing supporting their argument with clear reasons and relevant evidence from the text
